Flora’s fundamental goals are to help small businesses and individuals stay out of trouble with the IRS, save money, increase their profitability and improve their cash flow through her tax, bookkeeping and business/consulting services.
Flora is an Enrolled Agent (EA) - the highest tax designation conferred by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance. Flora is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor (http://quickbooks.intuit.com/).
She is licensed to practice and represent taxpayers before the IRS at all administrative levels - examination, collection, and appeals. Flora has about 3 decades of international experience in taxes, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation (amongst other finance, accounting and business planning responsibilities), across retail, banking, logistics, airline, construction and mining industries.
In particular, Flora frequently helps clients with IRS tax issues associated with identity theft, payroll tax, penalty abatement and lien removal, amongst others. She works closely with clients and liaises with the IRS until every reported issue is resolved.
Flora, who has lived in 3 different continents within the last 20 years of her nearly 30-year career, is a sure help to expatriates in filing their tax returns and working with them to stay compliant with IRS tax laws, especially Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) and FinCen regulations.
Additionally, she has worked with different small businesses in the Houston area to set up their bookkeeping and generate their financial statements. She continues to support her clients with their QuickBooks needs.
Flora is a dynamic leader and team builder, consistently motivating others toward success. Her continued success in her chosen profession is driven by her passion for service coupled with being very comfortable with figures.
She served on the Volunteer Board of a few KatyISD schools as the PTA Treasurer from 2011 to 2013. She was a member of the 2013 - 2014 Leadership Katy of KatyISD. She has effectively motivated a number of cashiers and other volunteers to be more effective by ensuring that, for the first time, funds received on a special fundraising day are banked same day. This was adjudged an outstanding performance, as it was never the practice. She helped set up templates and forms that are now available electronically to other Board members for easy access, culminating in effective day-to-day PTA operations.
Flora and her husband with their 3 children have been residents of Fulshear, Texas since 2009. She enjoys walking, volunteering, cooking and travelling with her family.
